There are two gates, two roads, and two destinations. One is wide, crowded, and easy to travel, but Jesus says it leads to destruction. The other is narrow, constricted, and traveled by few, but it leads to life. For three chapters, Jesus has shown us the Father, His Kingdom, and what it means to live under His rule. Now the sermon becomes a plea. Jesus brings us to a decision. He doesn’t tell us to admire the gate or simply believe it exists. He gives one urgent command: Enter.
